“Light”
This piece is brushed on Japanese Senshi paper, commonly known as “rice paper” and backed, using the traditional urauchi (裏打ち) method. Urauchi is the process of laminating and drying glued washi paper on the back of the artwork. The technique strengthens the artwork and prevents it from wrinkling and sagging, making it easier to frame or mount.
